Have you ever wanted to try one of those delicious looking ramen bowls?! You know the kind you only see on TV in your favorite anime show! Well, look no further and worry no more because Jacksonville has its very own Soupa-Saiyan 2 Noodle Bar.

Nestled in the Tinseltown shopping plaza, this dragon ball-z themed noodle bar offers ramen bowls with flavors that will please every palette. At the door, we were greeted by Super Saiyan God Goku, and that is when we knew this was bound to be an experience! Why else would God Goku be here? We chose the Curry Laksa & Tom Yum-Y bowls from the menu. But for anyone who wants to get creative, they do have a build your own bowl option that you can spice up however you would like!! For those who are brave, you have the option to Soupa Siza a recipe, which triples the amount going into your bowl! We were surprised by more than the size of our ramen bowls, the flavors in these recipes is unlike anything you've tasted in those instant noodle cups. Hints of lime and curry gave these dishes that something different that really stole the show. While we chowed down on our noodles, we learned that the art covering the walls in Soupa Saiyan is up for grabs! But under one condition, you must first collect all 7 dragon balls from the gumball machine. A challenge we are definitely going to have to try next time!!

Soupa is a fun spot for dragon ball z lovers to get in their element, but it is also a great introduction to ramen. If you are looking to try something different on your next lunch break or maybe a night out with the family, the friendly staff and fun atmosphere of this Jax Hot Spot are hard to pass up.
