Riverside Arts Market

Do you ever feel like you’re not getting the most out of your Saturday? Tired of your usual routine and in need of something fun and affordable for the family? At times it feels like Jacksonville has so much to experience, but few centralized locations or combined efforts to host multiple businesses within a single, safe area. In an effort to bring a new sense of unity to the community, the City of Jacksonville organized a weekly event that allows citizens to revitalize their weekend time by spending part of their day at the Riverside Arts Market! Located under the Fuller Warren Bridge (or as most Jax natives say “The Red Bridge”), RAM offers an eclectic taste of Jacksonville from 10am-3pm every Saturday!!

If you can muster the energy early enough to hit the scene at 9AM, the festivities kick off with some early morning yoga to set a positive tone for the day. Following the yoga session, the lot is filled with tons of local artists, creative entrepreneurs and farmers exhibited in flea market booth style. Take a stroll under the bridge and you’ll find everything from local produce and plants, to handcrafted jewelry, notebooks, handbags along with much more depending on the week! Of course, you all know we love to eat; our favorite part always has to do with food, and we enjoyed getting to take in some tastes & scents of some hometown grub vendors. Some of which are well known on the streets, others who were new faces to the Jax Foodie scene, all of which we were elated to try!

Next time you’re in the mood to experience downtown Jacksonville, stop by RAM for lunch and live music on the water. Who knows, you may even find that your new favorite brand happens to be locally crafted and sold right here in Duval!
